Top 5 things I love about Clermont

I'm retired and The median home value here is around $368,600, which seems about average. Homes are going for about $368,600 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in retail. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Definitely worth checking out..
