Been living here since 2022. Rent is about $1,139/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I overthinking this? Thanks for reading. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Westside for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- The nightlife scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Houston about 4 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is pretty good.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Definitely worth checking out..
