Moving to Cleveland Heights for work -advice?

I'm a 36-year-old accountant and Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Cleveland Heights sits at 215.4 per 100K. Rent is about $1,139/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. TIA! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great BBQ places. it's not perfect but it works for me.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much reasonable but now it's better than expected.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
