Things that make Cleveland Heights unique

Longtime lurker here, I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $176,700 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 44,694 people. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the West side. Completely different vibe. it's exactly what I was looking for.

I work in consulting here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is better than expected. No regrets on my end..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Dallas about 11 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are pricey, gas is improving.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Happy to answer more specific questions..
