Hello, Median household income is $53,125, which feels on the lower side for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Cleveland sits at 223.2 per 100K. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Let me know your thoughts. Any help is appreciated. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The healthcare is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from Austin about 8 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and a fresh start.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is challenging.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Westside area are average. Kids love it here.
