Is Cleveland a good place to live?

So, I work in engineering and Household incomes average around $55,904 in Cleveland. Homes are going for about $241,800 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I work in healthcare here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is underrated. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 13 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
