First post here. With a population of 48,185, Cleveland is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What would you do?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from Denver about 4 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are reasonable, gas is decent.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..
