Best neighborhoods to rent in Clifton?

Longtime lurker here, Rent is about $592/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 1.0%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The public transit is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in West for 4 years. Moved from Chicago for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is challenging. We bought in 2015 at k and it's now worth up significantly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
engineering is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are pricey for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is improving - we have hiking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. West schools are decent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Road conditions need improvement. Limited entertainment options. And safety can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 9/10. Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much wild but now it's underrated.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The cultural scene is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.
