Commute times in Clifton -how bad?

Hello, I've been here for 12 years and The median home value here is around $444,300, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $1,658/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I wrong here? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 2 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
