Hello, I'm a 41-year-old data analyst and It's a a smaller city city with about 89,247 people. Median household income is $99,003, which feels pretty solid for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Should I be concerned? Appreciate any input. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.
I've been here 4 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the West side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much growing but now it's challenging.

Came here for family and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The community vibe is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
