Grocery stores in Clifton Springs -recommendations?
OK so We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. With a population of 2,124, Clifton Springs is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Clifton Springs sits at 459.2 per 100K. Homes are going for about $163,900 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks in advance! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Meadowbrook. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in consulting. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
No regrets on my end..

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in consulting. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Thai.
Definitely worth checking out..

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.
