Clinton quality of life -am I missing something?

I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $57,493 in Clinton. It's a a small town city with about 24,425 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Any advice would be great.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Diverse dining options
- Strong sense of community
- The school system scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Lakewood area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
