Affordable areas near Clinton?

Hello, I'm single, late 40s, and Poverty rate is 6.7%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $400,300 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Clinton sits at 386.5 per 100K. Household incomes average around $120,967 in Clinton. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Close to nature
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events

Cons:
- Cold winters
- Not very walkable
- Mosquitoes and humidity
What neighborhoods would you suggest? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
