Random thought, I'm originally from Memphis and It's a a smaller city city with about 38,756 people. Poverty rate is 6.7%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
