Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider -Clinton sits at 386.5 per 100K. Homes are going for about $400,300 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 8 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is challenging.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Seattle it's underrated.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is surprisingly good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The outdoor recreation is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
