Clinton in the winter -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Household incomes average around $70,913 in Clinton. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $70,913, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Clinton sits at 924.1 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Baltimore about 12 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is solid.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..
