Working in Clinton -salaries realistic?

Curious what people think. With a population of 27,418, Clinton is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 7.5%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Any advice would be great. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in Lakewood for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- The dating scene scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited entertainment options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.
