Poverty rate is 8.7%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. What do you all think? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Bought a house here in 2023 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Greenfield. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Korean.
