Clinton job market vs Pittsburgh

So, With a population of 1,367, Clinton is a small town. Rent is about $1,350/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the Cedar Grove side. Completely different vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value walkability, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely challenging and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (South) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Chicago, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely hit or miss and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Lakewood) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Austin, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Road conditions need improvement.
