I work in food service and It's a a small town city with about 18,776 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Should I be concerned? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I've lived in Sunset for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The community vibe scene is solid
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
