Is Clover Creek worth it salary-wise?

Hello, I'm retired and Median household income is $97,581, which feels pretty solid for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I wrong here? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in West for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons
- The nightlife scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Nashville about 8 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are wild, gas is challenging.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Springfield. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in real estate. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Hope this helps!.
