Biggest downsides of living in Clute?

Curious what people think. I work in media and The unemployment rate is 6.4%, which is concerning. Rent is about $1,223/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 5 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
