What's it really like living in Coachella?
Longtime lurker here, The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.
I've been here 12 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is hit or miss.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
