Coaldale borough (Schuylkill County) job market vs San Francisco

Been living here since 2021. Homes are going for about $69,300 on average. Median household income is $60,982, which feels about average for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any help is appreciated.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 10 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
