Life in Coatesville as a young professional

Hey folks, I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $1,464 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Does this match your experience? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Tampa about 12 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Strong job market in several industries
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..
