Hi all, Poverty rate is 57.1%, which is higher than I expected. You can expect to pay around $463 for rent here. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Any help is appreciated. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I'm a teacher and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The food scene scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited shopping options
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.
