Anyone work in healthcare in Coconut Creek?

Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $291,000, which seems about average. Median household income is $75,516, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Coconut Creek sits at 131.3 per 100K. With a population of 57,587, Coconut Creek is a smaller city. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Coconut Creek? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Bought a house here in 2021 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Oak Park. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in retail. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
