Alright, The unemployment rate is 1.0%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Thoughts? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much developing but now it's pretty good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Seattle about 8 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are affordable, gas is tough.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Bought a house here in 2015 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
