College housing prices -when will it stop?

I'm originally from Seattle and Household incomes average around $76,831 in College. With a population of 11,730, College is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Let me know your thoughts.

I work in hospitality here and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market for my field is better than expected. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in Riverside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- The job market scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. Definitely worth checking out..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.
