Hey, I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,846/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community vibe is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

Bought a house here in 2021 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Asian places. it's exactly what I was looking for.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 10 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into running, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
