Things Collegedale needs to improve

Hey, Been living here since 2017. You can expect to pay around $1,435 for rent here. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 8.4%, which is pretty low. With a population of 11,185, Collegedale is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Friendly people
- Close to nature
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Cold winters
- Limited nightlife
- Not very walkable
- Limited dining options
Should I be concerned? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Came here for retirement and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor recreation is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Used to live on the West side, now on the Sunset side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.
