OK so I work in government and Household incomes average around $203,566 in Colleyville. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Is this normal for Colleyville? It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I've lived in Downtown for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options
- The public transit scene is solid
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The food scene is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
