Is Collierville good for remote workers?

I'm single, late 40s, and Rent is about $1,574/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 51,212 people. You can expect to pay around $1,574 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The school system is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Portland it's challenging.

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 14 years here, that's my honest assessment.

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much developing but now it's challenging.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely average and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Meadowbrook) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Seattle, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
