Is Colonia good for remote workers?

First post here. Median household income is $134,301, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 18,294, Colonia is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 11 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
