Moving from Houston to Colorado Springs next month

I work in tech and Rent is about $1,562/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I wrong here? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
