Best kept secrets of Colton, CA

Hi all, Crime rate is something to consider -Colton sits at 390.5 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 3 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into running, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
