So, The unemployment rate is 0.7%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $107,922 in Columbia. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Columbia? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
