Best things about Columbia that nobody talks about
As a 1-year resident, here are some things about Columbia that don't make it into the guides:
1. The farmers market on Saturday mornings is incredible
2. Several hidden gem restaurants that rival big city food
3. Cost of living is way better than people think

For families, I'd recommend looking at Pine Grove. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.
