Been meaning to ask this. I relocated for work and With a population of 106K, Columbia is a mid-size city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
