Columbia vs Cincinnati — which is better?

Hey, Rent is about $1,067/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider — Columbia sits at 320.8 per 100K. Average temperature is around 55°F, so expect cold winters. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.
