What's it really like living in Columbia?

I'm a remote worker and The median home value here is around $268,300, which seems about average. Household incomes average around $64,488 in Columbia. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Any advice would be great.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much stable but now it's tough.
