Dog-friendly places in Columbia?

Longtime lurker here, I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $243,500 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. TIA!

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Strong job market in several industries
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
