Freelancing from Columbia — experience?

Longtime lurker here, My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $243,500, which is actually reasonable. Household incomes average around $55,653 in Columbia. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What do you all think?

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Eastside area are tough. Kids love it here.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The public transit is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..
