How is the nightlife in Columbia?

OK so I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $243,500, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 4.5%, which is about average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. I've lived in Lakewood for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The outdoor recreation scene is decent

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
