Healthcare options in Columbine?

I'm a 27-year-old sales rep and Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,681 people. Rent is about $2,391/month for a decent place. With a population of 25,681, Columbine is a smaller city. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Maple Ridge area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Hope this helps!.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 7 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much manageable but now it's better than expected.

I'm a nurse and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is average and there's always something going on.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Eastside. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in real estate. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.
