Best coffee shops in Columbus?

First post here. The median home value here is around $182,300, which is actually reasonable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I wrong here?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Nashville about 3 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are developing, gas is tough.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. No regrets on my end..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is solid in most areas.

Used to live on the East side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I've lived in Westside for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Decent public transit for the size
- The housing market scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Minneapolis about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. No regrets on my end..
