Alright, My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $56,622, which feels about average for the area. With a population of 204K, Columbus is a mid-size city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here? TIA!

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in education. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Indian.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
