Columbus in the winter -how bad?

OK so My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 9.4%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Anyone in a similar situation?

I'm a marketing manager and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.
