Anyone work in healthcare in Combee Settlement?

Crime rate is something to consider -Combee Settlement sits at 446.6 per 100K. Homes are going for about $177,400 on average. Rent is about $1,159/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Worth the trade-offs? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Midtown for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good healthcare facilities
- The cost of living scene is improving

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Winters are long and cold

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Seattle about 11 years ago. The main reasons were work and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are growing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The safety is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 5 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Houston about 3 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Four distinct seasons
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 5 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
