Not sure if this has been asked before, but Been living here since 2013. You can expect to pay around $1,626 for rent here. Homes are going for about $463,200 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Commerce City sits at 451.8 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. Appreciate any input. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is underrated in most areas.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The healthcare is average compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Fairview for 10 years. Moved from Salt Lake City for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is tough. We bought in 2021 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.
**Employment:**
government is strong here. retail is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are pricey for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor scene is hit or miss - we have beaches within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Fairview schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Limited entertainment options. And food scene can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 7/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The nightlife is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
